Key Responsibilities
To complete housekeeping and cleaning activities at Naramata Centre ensuring cleanliness and guest readiness of accommodations and facilities in accordance with Naramata Centre's standards. This role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Term: June 27 - August 29 | 35-40 hours
Primary Duties
Housekeeping Support Responsibilities:
Clean and provide housekeeping services for all guest accommodation including bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas in accordance with Naramata Centre standards.
Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, washing floors, sanitizing bathrooms, cleaning appliances, cleaning windows, and washing dishes.
Sweep entryways and wipe down walls.
Ensure accommodations are "guest ready" by setting out towels, sheets, and blankets and stocking bathroom supplies.
Dispose of refuse and recyclables in designated areas.
Launder linens and towels.
Clean and maintain campground laundry facilities and kitchen areas, office buildings and on-site facilities.
Follows cleaning and safety related procedures and standards.
Respond promptly to guest requests in a professional and friendly manner.
Document and report maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Assist with inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies.
Attend training sessions as required.

Education or Experience Requirements
Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
WHMIS certification or training.
Valid First Aid Training (preferred)
Qualifications
Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector search.
Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to work an irregular work schedule including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
